Week 5: Nevinyrral's Disk (Alpha)
This week is a sweet one. I picked this up shortly before the new year in a trade with the impeccable Joe Steet of Dave & Adam's Card World. The cost to me was two signed LP Unlimited Badlands and cash to even up. Absolutely thrilled with this card. Jailbreak went smoothly, as well.
A cornerstone of mono-black, the Disk gives me the ability to deal with creatures, artifacts, and enchantments in a color that otherwise struggles against some of these types. Also pairs nicely with Sedge Troll, one of my favorite pieces to run in any 93/94 variant.
